The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision, and equipment necessary to complete removal and replacement of all exterior windows (186 total) and exterior double doors (8 total) at Building 90, located at CFB Suffield, Alberta . The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 253 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 45 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion. The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP) within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in Amendment No.1 to the tender documents. Even though you have been invited to bid on a project, should your DCC bidding privileges have been suspended and you submit a bid on future DCC projects, said bids will be rejected and no contract will be awarded to said tenderer. Inquiries relating to this solicitation are to be directed ONLY to the DCC Contracting Authority mentioned in this advertisement. Bidders who contact anyone other than the DCC Contracting Authority to obtain clarifications during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, be disqualified. Tenderer shall submit bid security with the tender in the form of an electronic bid bond or wire transfer in an amount that is equal to not less than 10 percent of the tender amount. Defence Construction Canada reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to negotiate or invite new tenders, in cases where the lowest acceptable tender exceeds the advertised budget amount.
