CSJ 0921-02-432 Question Deadline 10/19/2023 at 5:00 PM CT The contractor shall under the terms stated in the general conditions furnish all the materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, superintendence, labor, insurance, The intent of the Contract is to describe the completed work to be performed. Furnish materials, supplies, tools, equipment, labour, and other incidentals necessary for the proper prosecution and completion of the work in accordance with Contract documents. The Bidder certifies that all subcontract agreements will incorporate the Standard Specification and Special Provisions to Section Payment Provisions for Subcontractors, all subcontract agreements exceeding $10,000 will incorporate the applicable Wage Determination Decision, and all subcontract agreements will incorporate the following. The City of Pharr reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all bids, to waive any or all formalities, or technicalities, and to accept the bid of the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and hold the bids for a period of ninety (90) days without taking action. A Bidder's Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified Cashiers Check, payable without recourse to the City of Pharr, for the amount of not less than five (5) percent (%) of the total bid shall accompany the bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of Pharr within the time specified. Payment and Performance Bonds shall be executed in accordance of Item 3L "Award and Execution of Contract". Failure to execute contracts within the time specified shall forfeit to the Owner, as liquidated damages for such failure or refusal, the security deposited with his bid. Performance and Payment Bonds must be provided in the amount of 100% of the contract award amount (correct contractor's legal name as registered with the Texas Secretary of State).
