The work to be performed under this contract includes the construction of approximately 265 LF of 48” steel casing jack and bore installation, 235 LF of 36” steel casing jack and bore installation, 70 LF of 36” steel casing open cut installation, 2,651 LF of 24” DIP gravity sewer, 7,100 LF of 16” DIP sewer force main, 17 manholes, 2 air release valves, 3 plug valves, restoration of all disturbed areas to preconstruction conditions, and all other incidental work as shown on the drawings or specified within the contract documents to complete the project. Bids are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted. All Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond or a certified check made payable to the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the sum of 100% of the total amount bid and provide insurance coverage as required by the contract documents. Gwinnett County reserves the right to extend the solicitation opening date as appropriate in order to assure a competitive procurement process.
