The Project consists of all labor, materials equipment and services necessary to [Install remote door access equipment, central exchange units, client stations and associated low voltage wiring and electrified door hardware at (2) school sites]. When the bid price is greater than $25,000, the successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Work. Contractor shall perform the Work at Location 1: James Denman Middle School 241 Oneida Ave, San Francisco, CA 94112 and Location 2: June James Lick Middle School, 1220 Noe St, San Francisco, California ("Site"). Description of Phase 1: James Denman Middle School Work Hours: This work is limited to off-hours. Contractor shall perform work between the hours of 4pm - 9pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. The Contractor may work between the hours of 2:30pm - 9pm on Wednesdays. Weekend work is allowable between the hours of 8am - 8pm. Scope of work includes, but not limited to: the installation of (2) new Aiphone door stations and replacement of (1) existing door station, installation of electrified doors hardware and power supply at (2) existing exterior doors, (1) new client station to be located in the Main Office, (1) new CEU to be installed in the most compatible MDF or IDF to be proposed by the Contractor and approved by the District Representative. Contractor shall verify the location of any existing equipment in field prior to installation. The Contractor shall install all required low voltage wiring from the (3) new Aiphones to the CEU and from the CEU to the new client station. The Contractor shall submit the proposed conduit layout plan to the District for review and approval prior to installation. Description of Phase 2: James Lick Middle School Work Hours: This work is limited to off-hours. Contractor shall perform work between the hours of 4pm - 9pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
