The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for HM Materials Door/Frame & HM Door at the Iowa DOT’s Ames Complex’s Building 5 interior & Grand Avenue Materials Building exterior located at 800 Lincoln Way, Ames, IA 50010. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Start date - 09/01/2023 Project end date- 12/31/2023 The awarded contractor will be required to conduct a final fit measurement prior to the ordering of any materials. Site Visits: A site visit is not required, but will be accommodated if needed prior to submitting a bid to ensure the vendor has the door measurements. Davis-Bacon wages do not apply.
