The City of Plant City, Florida seeks bids from qualified vendors to furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies necessary for the Tennis Court Resurfacing Project. Q & A deadline: Oct 03, 2023 3:00:00 PM EDT Questions shall be submitted in writing to the Procurement Department at cpcprocurement@plantcitygov.com. Resurface 2 tennis courts located at 120 N. Wilder Road with 22 tons per court. The tennis courts to be resurfaced are more clearly identified in the attached aerial picture. The awardee shall resurface two (2) HydroGrid(R) Tennis Courts, each court measuring approximately 60 feet by 120 feet. The existing nets, line tapes, and nails shall be removed. An hourly rate shall be included with Section 3 (Bid Submittals) for nails that require removal by hand (missing nail heads or nails do not pull out when line tape is removed) or new line tapes that require pre-drilling each hole (determined if line tape nails bend during normal installation). Scarify court surfaces as needed, scrape the courts of all excess dead material, surface algae, mold, and other organic growth. Treat the courts using Welch Tennis Algae Blaster(TM) algaecide to inhibit future organic growth. Add approximately twenty-two (22) tons of Hydroblend material to each tennis court; this material shall be placed on the tennis courts with laser-guided grading equipment to provide a smooth and even surface. Courts shall be rolled twice after the placement of the Hydroblend material and once more after installation of the line tapes. New herringbone line tapes shall be installed. The existing net posts shall be re-painted; the existing nets shall be re-installed. The awardee shall be responsible for providing an onsite dumpster and during the resurfacing as well as disposing of all materials in accordance with all applicable laws and standards.
