Firms Interested in Providing Public Construction Manager at Risk Services ("Cm" or "Cm at Risk") for the Springfield Technical Community College - School of Health and Patient Simulation Modernization, Springfield, Ma Are Invited to Submit a Statement of Qualifications ("Soq") to the Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance ("Dcamm"). This Cm at Risk Procurement is Conducted Pursuant to M.g.l. 149a, Contained in Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004. This Request for Qualifications ("Rfq") is the First Phase of a Two-phase Procurement Process as Set Forth in M.g.l. 149a. Dcamm is Prequalifying Firms Interested in Providing Public Cm at Risk Services for the Project Through the Rfq Process. Dcamm Will Evaluate Submitted Soqs Based Upon the Identified Evaluation Criteria as Set Forth in the Rfq and Will Select Those Respondents It Deems Qualified. This Project Will Relocate the Shps by Renovating Five of the Existing Seven Floors Within a Separate Building. Upgrades Will Include a Full Renovation of the Interior for the Identified Floors as Well as Concentrated Updates to the Existing Building Shell and Any Necessary Upgrades as Required Per Code. The project will relocate the School of Health and Patient Simulation (SHPS) at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) from Building 20 to Building 2 on STCC's campus by renovating five (5) out of the existing seven (7) floors within Building 2. Upgrades will include a full renovation of the interior for the identified floors as well as concentrated updates to the existing building shell and any necessary upgrades as required per code. The programs included within SHPS include Medical Assisting, Surgical Technology, Respiratory Care, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiology Technology, Health Sciences, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, and Dental Hygiene and Assistant. All programs will use comprehensive simulation technology, while the programs of OT, PT, and Dental services will be capable of providing real care through a forwardfacing clinic run by the SHPS school. The benchmark for SDVOBE and VBE participation on the Project is 3%.
