The project provides for all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct approximately 900 feet of stream bank/toe stabilization utilizing either boulder bank/toe, wood bank/toe, or riprap bank/toe methodologies along right descending bank of Trammel Creek, seeding of native herbaceous species, planting of native trees and shrubs, removal of an existing low water roadway crossing and installation of a constructed riffle; establishment of a new kayak/canoe launch, construction of two creek access stairs; and construction of other park improvements including improvements to existing parking area, construction of concrete pavilion and parking pads, drainage swale improvements, and construction of concrete walking path loop. An optional field visit to the Romanza Johnson Park project site will follow the mandatory pre-bid office/virtual meeting. Questions regarding the bid documents must be submitted to Nikki Koller (nikki.koller@ky.gov) no later than seven (7) days before the bid opening date.
