The project involves approximately 775 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt Top Course, 550 Tons of Hot Mix Asphalt Base and Leveling Courses, 2,650 SY Pavement Milling, 2,275 SY of pavement removal, ten (10) Drainage Structures, 106 LF of 12-inch and 1160 LF of 24-inch drainage pipe, and restoration including road restriping, paver and concrete, restoration, landscaping and cleanup. Project also includes removal and replacement of 612 of 8-inch C-900 LF of water main including water services, hydrant and p84.oration A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Borough of Beach Haven in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. The Borough of Beach Haven hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Borough further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Borough.
