The project consists of the construction of new outlet structures at the hatchery settling pond, settling pond sludge removal, and pond modifications. Outlet structure installation includes fish screens, 4' x 4' box culvert crossing Powerline Road and a culvert junction structure discharging to Wilson drain and ponds. Sludge removal will be performed to remove accumulated fish waste and fine sediment. Settling pond earthwork will be performed to deepen the pond and to regrade the banks with the placement of riprap material to provide additional stability. Baffles will be installed within the pond to limit channelization, control velocities, and maintain water quality standards This bid security shall be given as guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw his Proposal for a period of 60 days after bid opening, and that if awarded the Contract, the successful Bidder will execute the attached Contract and furnish the Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond as hereinafter specified. The Bidder further agrees to begin work within 10 calendar days after the date shown on the Notice to Proceed and to complete the construction, in all respects, for which his Proposal is accepted within the number of calendar days after the date of execution of the Contract by the Owner as set forth below: 180 Calendar Days A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid is required if total bid is equal to or greater than $50,000. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho is required of the successful bidder at the time of bid opening if total bid is equal to or greater than $50,000. Include names and Public Works License number on Sub-Contractor List as part of bid.
