Reference Number 0000253719 In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Proposals from Design-Build Teams to provide the following Services: Design and renovation of 2 armouries, as well as the design and construction of at least one (1) new facility, located in Sherbrooke, Québec. Various works are to be planned depending on the condition of the existing buildings and the configuration of the sites. Major work, including demolition, construction, renovation/restoration, expansions, and reconfiguration/redevelopment of spaces, is required so that the Belvédère and William sites can meet the operational requirements of the units as much as possible. Site preparation and development of parking areas for civilian and military vehicles are also part of the scope of work. Concerning the 3rd site; a business case will be conducted by DND to determine the preferred option. This study can be carried out when the composition (units and/or functions) of the Belvédère and William sites has been finalized. Thus, we will be able to confirm the requirements in terms of interior and exterior spaces for the 3rd site. Work Site no 1 - Development / Preliminary Concept, Definition and Implementation for the Belvédère site of which the requirement of interior and exterior spaces will depend on the chosen option. Work Site no 2 - Development / Preliminary Concept, Definition and Implementation for the William site of which the requirement of interior and exterior spaces will depend on the chosen option. Work Site no 3 - Development / Preliminary Concept, Definition and Implementation of a new facility whose requirements in term of interior and exterior spaces will depend on the chosen options for the two sites of the Belvédère and William armouries. The estimated construction cost of this Project is in the order of magnitude of $220,000,000.
