The SLBE goal for this Project is____0 GENERAL Clayton County is seeking qualified bidders to provide Monument Aluminum Sign Installation for the Jim Huie Recreation Center for Clayton County. 1.1 The Bidder shall fabricate and install a one single sided 10' feet (L) x 7' feet (H) Aluminum Box Monument Sign with acrylic routed letters stud mounted. 1.2 Installation, fabrication, and all on site work shall be performed by skilled craftsmen. 2. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 2.1. The Bidder must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial sign installation. Please be sure to include the necessary references to support this requirement in Appendix C, Required Form Submittals, Reference and Release Form. 2.2. The Bidder must be a registered vendor with the County and insured to perform the Purchase and Installation of a Monument Aluminum Sign for the Jim Huie Recreation Center for Clayton County. 2.3. Hours of Service: Normal business hours for this project shall be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday except for the County's official holidays. 2.4. The Bidder's employees must have proper identification in their possession to ensure ingress and egress at the facility in which the Bidder is required to work. 2.5. Equipment, Materials, Parts, and Supplies: The Bidder shall supply all equipment, materials, parts, and supplies needed to provide the services requested. The County will notify the Bidder through its service request form if it intends to provide any materials or parts needed for a work item. 2.6. Basis of Compensation: Compensation to the Bidder for requested work will be based on a lump sum price for the job. The lump sum price must be split between the total cost for labor/overhead and materials/equipment. The labor/overhead amount shall include all costs associated with insurance, administrative costs, transportation by service vans and trucks in addition to all costs for depreciable items such as hand tools, power tools, ladders, carts, testing equipment, and miscellaneous items normally associated with telecommunication services. The County shall not be charged for any additional costs associated with the provision of cost estimates and proposals unless the County Representative has authorized such costs in writing. It is the bidder's responsibility to verify site conditions and bid accurately.
