Onslow County Schools (OCS) seeks proposals to replace the existing antiquated intercom system at Silverdale Elementary School as part of a multi-year plan to update all intercom systems across the district. Thus far, we have replaced 10 intercom systems with IP-based Bogen Nyquist systems and wish to standardize with those systems across the district. For this project, we are seeking pricing to replace the existing intercom system at Silverdale Elementary School with a 96-station Nyquist system. The main system components will be installed in the school's Main Data Facility (MDF) in the old CCTV cabinet that is no longer in use. The existing field wiring and speakers will be removed and replaced with all new cabling and speakers. (Speaker cabling in existing mobile units will not need to be replaced as it is new wiring. Wiring for staff phones in the mobile units will need to be included.) Installation should include lightning protection for speaker stations at all locations. Proposals should include installation of new 66-blocks in each ASB location. Proposals should include a POE network switch that will be connected to the school's existing network infrastructure. OCS will ensure connectivity to our network and provide an open port and configuration at the MDF and in each Intermediate Data Facility (IDF) as needed. Installation should include 2 Bogen Administrative phones (one to be placed at the school's front reception area and one in the Principal's office), as well as 65 staff station phones. Proposals should include one year of software support as well as detailed information on terms and conditions of any warranty that is included.
