The Bloom Township will receive proposals for the 2023 Roadway Repaving Program: S Rhodes Ave., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and Friday 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the following location: Office of the Clerk Bloom Township Center (Temporary location) 712 Halsted Street Chicago Heights, IL 60411 Proposals will then be reviewed by the Engineer and a recommendation for award will be presented to the Bloom Township Board of Trustees for approval. The proposed project will consist of the rehabilitation of S Rhodes Avenue from E. Glenwood Lansing Road to E. Glenwood Dyer Road. The work shall include milling and overlay of asphalt pavement. Submission of a bid shall be conclusive assurance and warranty that the Bidder has examined the plans and project specifications and understands all requirements for the performance of the work. The Bidder will be responsible for all errors in the proposal resulting from failure or neglect to conduct an in-depth examination. The Township will in no case be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses, or changes in anticipated profits resulting from such failure or neglect of the Bidder. The Bloom Township Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals, to waive technicalities, or to accept any item of any proposal. Upon formal award of the project to the successful Bidder, a contract agreement that includes all documents herein and the Bidder's proposed pricing will be issued for execution.
