The Township of North Brunswick is soliciting bids for the improvements of the basketball court at Babbage Park in North Brunswick. Currently, the basketball court at Babbage Park in North Brunswick is in need of improvements - asphalt and restriping. Dispose of excavation at an offsite facility. (Approximately 3,120 S.F.) Install 4" thick, dense graded aggregate base course for extension of courts Install 2" thick, hot mix asphalt stabilized base course, mix 19M64 for extension of courts Remove and dispose of existing basketball goals. (2 Units) Install two (2) new basketball goals. Install PetroTac, or equivalent, pavement reinforcing fabric over 120 L.F. of existing cracks and at perimeter of expansion area. Apply tack coat and install 2" thick, hot mix asphalt surface course, mix 9.5M64 over entire court Tape and hand paint playing lines. Add Color Coating Surface (60' x 100'): Following cure-time on asphalt, apply acrylic resurfacer Apply NovaCombination, or equivalent, color coating system Tape and hand paint playing lines Photo of current Basketball Court is included in attachments tab.
