The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) requires the roof repair of the Personnels Building of the Mercedes Field Office located at is located at 325 Golf Course Road, Mercedes, Texas 78570. Mercedes Personnel Building Roof Repair - The Mercedes Field Office site is located at 325 Golf Course Road, Mercedes Texas 78570. Project Overview The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) requires the roof repair of the Personnels Building of the Mercedes Field Office located at is located at 325 Golf Course Road, Mercedes, Texas 78570. General This is a non-personnel services Contract to provide roof repair due to water damage. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the Contract service providers performing the services herein. Such Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. Description of Services The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform roof repair in the personnel building built in 2005 in the Mercedes Field Office Personnel Building defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Objective Remove existing felt shingles on roof of USIBWC / Mercedes Field Office Personnel Building. Perform an inspection of the steel deck on the roof once the shingles are removed. USIBWC needs to approve any replacement to be completed on the metal deck. The Contractor must install a new insulated underlayment above steel deck and single ply membrane roofing system or better than the existing felt with hot applied asphalt on the roof, which meets the requirements established in this Performance Work Statement. Project Location The work is within the United States on land owned by the USIBWC. The Mercedes Field Office site is located at 325 Golf Course Road, Mercedes Texas 78570. The work is located completely within the United States. Period of Performance The Contractor shall complete this work within 120 calendar days after the Contract has been awarded to the Contractor.
