Award: Team North Texas, $830,090.54 This Project Consisting of Renovation of the Current Public Library (1210 Park St, Commerce, Tx) to Construct a New, Ada Compliant Entrance and Ada Compliant Restroom. A General Description of the Work Will Be Sitework, Demolition, Concrete Work, Structural Concrete Slab, Steel Structure With a Masonry Facade, and Bitumen Roof. Interior Finishes Will Be Porcelain Ceramic Tile or Carpet, Metal Stud Partitions With Gypsum Board Textured and Painted, Suspended Acoustical Tile Ceilings, Mechanical, and Electrical Work. All Questions Pertaining to This Project Are Required to Be Submitted to the Design Architect and No Responses Will Be Given 48 Hours Prior to Bid Opening. All Others Will Not Be Addressed. A Bid Bond in the Amount of 5% of the Bid Issued By an Acceptable Surety Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. A Certified Check or Bank Draft Payable to The City of Commerce or Negotiable U.s. Government Bonds (as Par Value) May Be Submitted in Lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Commerce Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informality in the Bidding. Bids May Be Held by City of Commerce for a Period Not to Exceed 60 Days From the Date of the Bid Opening for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Bidders' Qualifications Prior to the Contract Award. All Contractors/subcontractors That Are Debarred, Suspended or Otherwise Excluded From or Ineligible For Participation on Federal Assistance Programs May Not Undertake Any Activity in Part or in Full Under This Project. Single story structure which generally consist of Sitework Demolition, Concrete Work, Structural Concrete Slab, Steel Structure with a Masonry façade Bitumen Roof.
