This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by SaskWater to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Supply & Install Solar Panels, at the Meadow Lake Potable Water Supply System (MLPOWSS) Water Treatment Plant, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the "Deliverables"). The purpose of this project is to design, supply, install, and commission a 100 kW 3 Phase 600 VAC solar panel system at MLPOWSS Water Treatment Plant. This initiative is in line with SaskWater commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and is part of our ongoing green initiatives, making it the fourth project under this endeavor. As a responsible organization, SaskWater has been actively investing in solar projects to reduce our carbon footprint. Over the past few years, we have successfully installed solar systems at three different facilities. The proposed solar panel project aims to further enhance our efforts to contribute to greener environment. The MLPOWSS Solar Panel project is in complete alignment with SaskWater' s strategic priorities, especially Leadership & Culture and Corporate Reputation. Moreover, it resonates with our corporate values, particularly stewardship and accountability. The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, design, supply, install, and commission a 100 kW 3 Phase 600 VAC solar panel system at MLPOWSS Water Treatment Plant at Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Design 100 KW, 3 phase 600 VAC solar panel system. Supply and Installation of a complete system including but not limited to anchoring system including screw piles, solar panels, all cabling, transformer, outdoor disconnect per CEC, and electrical connection to the MCC including MCC breaker. Provide labour, materials and equipment for delivery to the site, offloading, install, testing and commissioning of the solar panel system. Obtain required permits & approvals for install and commissioning of solar panel system. This may include permit and approval from SaskPower, City of Meadow Lake, and RM. Design, supply and install anchoring structures (Screw piles) and concrete housekeeping pad(s). Double nut and/or utilize Loctite on all bolted anchor points to prevent equipment from vibrating loose. Provide suitable and timely information to SaskWater so that interim design review can be undertaken when preliminary design is complete, and the final design is considered 95% complete. The interim design reviews will include a review of all relevant design drawings and reports, technical specifications. Meet with SaskWater after each design review to discuss and address any pertinent issues. Provide shop drawing and QA/QC submittals for proposed solar panel system including solar panels, anchoring system, screw piles, inverters, transformer and MCC breaker. Testing and commissioning of the complete system. Provide as-built drawings, commissioning report, O&M manual, and other warranty related documents. Provide required training to SaskWater personals on site. Manufacture solar
