Hinckley Fire Damaged Apartments Rebuild Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount of not less than 5% of the base bid shall be submitted with each bid. Failure to submit an acceptable bid bond with the bid will result in the rejection of the bid. The Bid Bond shall be in the form of an approved insurance company Bid Bond or a Cashiers Check issued to HACD. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the sum equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the amount of the bid, with sureties to be approved by the Authority. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities and/or reject any or all bids when, in the Authoritys opinion, such action will serve the best interest of the Authority Any Requests for Information (RFI) shall be submitted via email Ronald G. Billy, Jr., President, 1919 Architects, P.C. (ron@1919architects.com) no later than 5:00 p.m. local time on the 9th day of August 2023. The work is to be commenced at the time stipulated in the Notice to Proceed, by the contract, and shall be fully complete within Two Hundred Ten (210) calendar days.
