Reference Number 0000327505 The Town of Castle Rock, Colorado, is requesting pre-qualifications to engage qualified contractors for the renovation, rehabilitation and preconstruction services of the historic Cantril School building located at 312 Cantril, Castle Rock, CO 80104. The selected vendor will be responsible for estimating construction costs for budgeting purposes, consultation during design development, coordination with the design team, bidding and performing exploratory work as needed. As an overview, initial improvements include renovation of existing spaces to add ADA bathroom facilities, an ADA compliant lift and conversion of existing space to a front counter service area and a kitchen area renovation. All questions should be submitted in writing via email to Special Projects Manager Matt Gohl at mgohl@CRgov.com no later than 4:00 PM MDT on August 18, 2023. Questions received after this deadline may not be answered Award of Contract (tentative): September 1, 2023 *The Town of Castle Rock reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities Respondents are to provide ROM pricing and estimated project duration for constructing interior improvements based on the schematic design drawings in Exhibit I. The selected vendor will also be engaged in design and construction drawing development for improvements described more fully below (including cost estimating) and, upon agreement with the Town, may also perform minor exploratory services as needed to the building.
