Well #5 Rebuild The Town of Florence reserves the right to accept or reject any part of any or all bids as may be determined in the best interest of the Town. Question Deadline Sep 06, 2023 at 12:00 PM Description The Town of Florence Equipping of Well #5 is the installation of pumps, piping, disinfection, motor control center, SCADA, abandon the existing Well #5, install block walls and other appurtenances for the equipping and operation of Well #5 located at the northeast corner of Adamsville Road and Quartz Street. The work will be constructed in the vicinity of some newly installed solar panels. The panels have been located to accommodate the equipping of the well. The project will increase the Town of Florence ability to provide potable water to its citizens by approximately 1.1 million gallons per day. The Well #5 Equipping Project will install new pumps, pipe column, and water piping to connect the new well to approximately 1.25 MGD of existing water storage already located onsite. An existing wall will be removed, and a new wall will be constructed such that security is established at the site. The existing motor control center is outdated and will be replaced with a new motor control center capable of controlling the new well pump and controls located to fill the existing water storage tanks, and the existing water distribution pumps used to feed water from the existing storage tanks to the water distribution system
