Specifications prepared by the City of Waco / LJA Planning and Landscape Architecture / SCS Engineers. The City of Waco Solid Waste Department invites bids from qualified contractors who can deliver a landscaping improvement project that includes installing oak trees, then enhance the site along with a native grasses area, a decorative flower bed, and an entrance sign. The contractor will provide all the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services for site preparation, seeding, hydro mulching, moisture maintenance, seedling protection, and post planting maintenance. Work Included - This work involves various operations necessary to provide and establish a native grasses area as shown on the plans. Terms Conditions & Requirements In addition to the specifications for the Project, the attached Appendices include the City's Contract Requirements. In determining the number of days for completion of the work under this Contract, it is anticipated that work will not be performed on Saturdays, Sundays, or City holidays unless specifically approved by City. documentation defending the alternate bid as meeting or exceeding the intent of the specifications or scope of work.
