Contractor will supply containers (dumpsters) with a total capacity of 30 yards. Containers are to be placed at said Transfer Site by 8 A.M. Saturday morning. Containers are to be leased by the Town of Lewis at a rate, which will be a part of this contract bid. Contractor will be responsible for the removal of recyclables. Bidder may elect to use container owned by the Town of Lewis. Contractor to have equipment capable of servicing said containers. Contractor is to be responsible for compacting and hauling refuse from the Town of Lewis designated Transfer Site. Containers will be emptied the same day as Transfer Site operational hours, which is Saturdays from 8 A.M. until 4 P.M. Contractor will be responsible for a $100.00 per day performance penalty if said container(s) are left past noon on Sunday. Contractor will be responsible for payment of tipping fees for all refuse from the Town of Lewis designated Transfer Site. The contract bid must be a flat fee for handling up to 20 cubic yards of refuse per week. Contract bid must also include an additional price per yard if weekly volume exceeds the 20 yards covered in the base bid. NOTE: Current volume average is approximately 18 yards per week. Contract term will be from January 1, 2024 until December 31, 2024. The Town Board has the right to accept or reject any and all bids
