Project No: 223194 Rockford Park District intends to contract for the following items and services; specifications a re on file with Demandstar.com. The work scope at Ray Wantz Playground includes renovation of the existing building and park construction. Building renovation includes demolition, electrical, masonry, painting, epoxy flooring, doors and windows, toilet room remodeling, and patio I roof support work. Park construction includes site demolition, site grading, storm water drainage, asphalt paving, pavement striping, concrete flatwork, playground equipment and surfacing installation, fencing, site furnishings, landscaping, and turf establishment. This project is being financed, in part, with funds from the State of Illinois Department of Natural Resources "Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant program. Bids will be opened online via Zoom. Link to the Zoom opening is provided on the cover page of the bid document The Rockford Park District reserves the unrestricted right to reject any or all bids received, to waive or not to waive any informality, or to accept the bid considered to be in the best interest of the Park District. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under the is contract, and shall com ply with the requirements of the IL Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
