This Project remodels the current Spring Creek Fire Station to include space for the Elko County Ambulance staff and quarters which will better serve the Spring Creek area. Questions must be submitted no later than 4:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) on August 21, 2023 to: Project Manager Jennifer Roberson jennifer@ormazaconstruction.com 775-397-3828 All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked, indicating the subject item of bid enclosed. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check or bid bond for five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid. A bidder shall possess a valid contractor's license pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapter 624, at the time of submitting a bid. The acceptance of any bid by the Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter known as the OWNER, shall be contingent upon the bidding party submitting a performance and payment bond prior to signing a contract. The successful bidder will be required to comply with N.R.S. Chapter 338 Public Works Projects. (Pursuant to NRS 338.1379, and 338.1382.) Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to the extent and in the matter required by law, unless all bids are rejected. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be determined on the basis of price, conformance to plans and/or specifications, the bidder's qualifications, conformance to application sections of NRS Chapter 338, and the best interest of the public. The right is reserved by the Board of County Commissioners to reject any and all bids or to accept such bid as deemed best by said Board, and to waive any technicality in the bid form of the bid. The Elko County Commissioners may award a contract to the successful bidder at a regularly scheduled meeting on September 6, 2023.
