Ready-Mix Concrete to be delivered to Catawba and Lincoln Bridge Maintenance PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND It is the intent of this Invitation for Bid to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract to provide Ready-Mix Concrete to the NC Department of Transportation. This mixture specified herein will primarily be used to repair roads, foundations, buildings, and highways for Catawba and Lincoln counties Bridge Maintenance. This productis heavily used by the division for projects and maintenance upkeep of the highway and roads. 1.1 CONTRACT TERM The Contract shall have an initial term of three (3) years, beginning on the date of final Contract execution (the "Effective Date"), which is anticipated to be on or around September 1, 2023. In addition, and with the Vendor's concurrence, the State reserves the right to extend a contract term after the last active term. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of this IFB and any addenda issued hereto. Vendors will enter "IFB # 54-SBG-12087803 Questions" as the subject for the email.
