Site Directions: STH 19 at Rock River Est. Completion Date: March 15, 2024 Time of Completion and Liquidated Damages the Project Shall Be Substantial Complete by February 24, 2024. The project includes, but is not limited to, stabilizing an existing beam and masonry wall in the basement of the existing Masonic Temple. Jet grouting soil stabilization below the basement floor of the Masonic Temple, installation of interior drain tile, weeps, and sump pit, removal of a portion of the existing Hollow Sidewalk, and installation of waterproofing on the south basement wall of the Masonic Temple. The Project Shall Be Final Complete by March 15, 2024. Liquidated Damages Will Be Assessed at the Rate of $2,500 Per Calendar Day. BID SECURITY Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. This contract requires bid bonds electronically which may be submitted through Surety 2000 using contract #8785264. BONDING REQUIREMENTS Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond as well as a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, will be required to complete contract execution.
