The Village of Hazel Crest does hereby invite sealed bids for 175th Street Park Phase II. Question Deadline 08/23/2023 at 5:00 PM CT Questions to: Bridget Deatrick and Monica Goshorn-Maroney Hitchcock Design Group (630) 961-1787 bdeatrick@hitchcockdesigngroup.com mgoshorn-maroney@hitchcockdesigngroup.com Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, storm sewerage, asphalt paving, concrete paving, site furnishings, drain to waste splash pad, shelter installation, playground equipment installation, engineered wood fiber surfacing, exterior lighting, and planting and seeding. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Village of Hazel Crest. The successful bidder, as determined by the Village of Hazel Crest, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Village of Hazel Crest (Cook County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The Village of Hazel Crest reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Village of Hazel Crest. The Village of Hazel Crest encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
