Reference Number 0000327122 This project includes the removal of existing roof systems and associated flashing for in-scope roof replacement areas as well as recovering existing in-scope roof areas where the existing roof system will remain in place. The Contractor will be required to furnish and install a new fully adhered black EPDM membrane roof assembly system at all roof replacement areas and a new aggregate embedded asphalt flood coat over existing to remain built-up roof areas. All work will include new flashings and new sheet metal (fascia metal, parapet cap, counter-flashings, roof jacks, etc.) as shown per roof deck assembly on drawings. The scope of this project is a roof recover over the existing EPDM roof assembly. The existing roof systems consist of: A fully adhered EPDM membrane over gypsum cover board over one fully adhered layer of polyisocyanurate insulation over one mechanically fastened layer of polyisocyanurate insulation over an existing metal roof deck. Contractor to relief cut existing membrane (10'x10' grid pattern) prior to roof recover installation.
