Reference Number 0000327022 Town of Avon is seeking a comprehensive and sustainable approach for this housing project. The expectation is that this project is not self-contained but an investment into the community's future. This will be the Town of Avon's first housing project and ideally the design and plan will act as a roadmap for future projects. Additionally, any funds saved on this project will be invested into future Avon projects. The project will likely include approximately 50 housing units in connected 4-story buildings on land that the Town owns at the end of Yoder Avenue, to the southeast of the Home Depot. The unit mix will mostly consist of one-bedroom apartments. The nearby recycling center is to remain as part of the site layout. Parking will need to be optimized.
