A. These Specifications with the accompanying Drawings are intended to describe and illustrate all work necessary to complete the City of Shakopee Sand Venture project. This project consists of the construction of Demolition of the Existing Pool and Structure New Sand Bottom Pool, Equipment, and Structures New Restroom and Staff Building B. Coordination with other Trade Contractors on site will be required. C. The Construction Manager will not bid or perform work on any Bid Category. D. Each statement or requirement in these Specifications is a directive to the applicable Trade Contractor, unless responsibility is specifically assigned to others. E. The Bid Categories are constructed to follow as close as possible the CSI format of the contract documents. However, some bid categories may contain more than one specification section and/or parts thereof. F. Local custom and trade-union jurisdictional settlements do not control the scope-of-work included in each Trade Contract. When a potential jurisdictional dispute or similar interruption of construction activities is first identified or threatened, the affected Contracts shall promptly negotiate a reasonable settlement to avoid or minimize the pending interruption and its delays. The project work scope consists of a renovation and expansion of the Sand Venture Aquatics Facility. Bid Package No. 2 consists of 1.) building demolition, 2.) footings/foundations. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Bids received after that time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Est. Completion Date: June 21, 2024
