The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, has a FY-23 requirement for a contractor to provide construction services. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing nine (9) riser pipe grade control structures in Webster, Calhoun and Carroll Counties, Mississippi. Principle features of work include clearing and grubbing; excavation, backfill, pipe fill, embankment, and control of water; engineering fabric; stone protection; corrugated metal pipe; topsoil, fertilizing, seeding and mulching; lime treatment; welding; concrete work; storm water pollution prevention; and environmental protection. This requirement is being procured under FAR 14, Sealed Bidding, and has been set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. The solicitation is issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB), and the resulting construction contract shall be Firm Fixed-Price (FFP). The issue date of the solicitation is 03 August 2023.
