Toney Avenue & South 4th Street Waterline Improvements for Greenfield, Missouri The project consists of: the construction/installation of water line improvements aiding the hydraulics from recently completed City Well No. 4, improving the hydraulic flow from Well No. 4 (CP 5000118-22) to the City's two active water towers. The project will replace an existing 2" waterline along Toney Avenue with a new 6" SDR21 PVC waterline, and will replace an existing 3/4" waterline along South 4th Street with a new 6" SDR21 PVC waterline. The new waterlines will tie into the existing distribution system at three locations, all existing 4" waterlines, Toney Avenue and Maple Street; Toney Avenue and High Street; and South 4th Street and Garfield Street, via a wet tap connection, and existing service connections along the project route will be relocated once the new 6" waterlines are pressure treated and disinfected. All bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the City of Greenfield City Clerk and marked "Toney Avenue & South 4th Street Waterline Improvements for Greenfield, Missouri" The following items must be included in the sealed envelope: the bid, verification that any necessary bonds can be provided, a brief statement of the bidder's qualifications to perform the requested services, drug-free workplace requirements and lobbying, certification of non-segregated facilities, an Affidavit of Compliance with prevailing wage laws, and e-verify affirmation. A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held All materials shall be provided by the City of Greenfield, this solicitation being specifically limited to the actual labor and installation of the materials provided by the City. All relevant federal, state, and local requirements apply. The project will be awarded to the lowest, best, and most responsive bidder. The City of Greenfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technical formalities, and to negotiate with any responding Contractor or third-party to ensure that the City receives the best pricing available.
