The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. This project requires 22% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. Phase I work, if required, may consist of conducting route surveys, hydraulic surveys, drainage studies, hydraulic analysis, geometric studies, preparing Bridge Condition Reports, Hydraulic Reports, Structure Reports, Structure Geotechnical Reports, and preparing Project Reports (Categorical Exclusion projects only). This work will include data collection, development of alignment alternatives, cost estimates, traffic management analysis, accident analysis, TS&L drawings, right of way information, preparation of environmental documentation for submittal by District, environmental consequences, and other related work necessary to produce Project Reports for bridge or roadway projects. Phase II work, if required, may consist of route surveys, hydraulic analysis, geometric studies, roadway plans, structure plans, highway lighting, ADA plan development, preparation of pre-final plans for bridge or roadway projects, and any other work to complete final plans, specifications, and estimates for bridge or roadway projects, as necessary. The various proposed projects may consist of simple patching and resurfacing, bridge repair, bridge rehabilitation, bridge replacement, culvert replacement, widening and resurfacing, and/or new roadway projects. The department will furnish the Consultant with any available as-built plans, microfilm plans, field notes, traffic data, accident statistics, agency coordination, existing right-of-way plans, aerial photos, boring logs, and other information. The Consultant's work may consist of either complete projects or a portion of the total engineering required for a certain project.
