The project scope shall include the construction of a new approximately 780 SF single-story building. The program for the new building shall include (6) individual dressing rooms and 2)family sized dressing rooms and a chase for future plumbing (should the County desire to convert these spaces to restrooms). The organization of the building spaces provided in the DCP has been developed with input from the project stakeholders and shall serve as the guide for the development of the final building design. It is understood that there will be minor adjustments to the rooms to accommodate the construction type, structure, systems, codes and detailing of the final design and these adjustments should be coordinated with the Escambia County Facilities Management Department. The offeror shall at any time of Bid submission meet the license, certification, registration and any other requirements of the State, County, City and/or any other agency of authority with jurisdiction in such matters as necessary to perform the contractual services requested in this solicitation. The work included in this agreement shall be substantially completed within Three Hundred (300) consecutive calendar days from the date of the written Notice to Proceed. The bidder has an additional Thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the date of substantial completion for a total number of Three Hundred Thirty (330) consecutive calendar days to Final Completion. Liquidated damages, the sum of One Thousand, Six Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars ($1,699.00) for each calendar day of delay that actual completion extends beyond the time limit specified until such reasonable time as may be required for final completion of the work.
