The University intends to award 2 separate JOC agreements under two separate solicitations at the same time, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each solicitation for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, modernization, rehabilitation, demolition and minor construction of infrastructure, buildings, structures, or other public works. Bidder may bid separately on any or all of the contracts; however, only one contract may be awarded to any bidder. The apparent lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be determined sequentially for each contract in the following order: JOC 23-52; JOC 23-53. The apparent lowest responsive and responsible bidder on each JOC contract will be excluded from consideration for successive contracts. JOC 23-52 and JOC 23-53 The term of each JOC contract is 365 calendar days from the date of the first Notice to Proceed issued. The Trustees will only accept bids from prequalified contractors, licensed in the State of California with a B General Building license, registered with the DIR to bid public works projects. Bid Security in the amount of $25,000 is required. If the security is in the form of a bidders bond, Contractor must use the Bidders Bond form supplied by the University without alteration. In addition, the successful bidder will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds at 100% Question Deadline 08/29/2023 at 12:00 PM PT
