Dakota County is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to replace the roof at the Spring Lake Park Retreat Center in Rosemount. Remove and dispose of existing asphalt roofing system down to existing deck replace bad decking if needed. Remove existing sheet metal flashings/drip edge/valleys and dispose of. Install GAF Weather watch ice and water shield 24" inside of exterior walls, transitions, Install GAF Felt Buster over the entire roof surface not covered by water and ice shield. Install Timberline HDZ asphalt shingles Install GAF Timbertex accessories at all ridgelines. Install GAF 12" Cobra Snow Country at all ridge vent locations. Fabricate and install new pre-finished 24-gauge aluminum drip edge at all eaves and gable edges as needed. Color to be selected by owner. Fabricate and install new pre-finished 24-gauge aluminum valleys as needed. Color to be selected by owner. Fabricate and install new step flashings and dormer flashings along transitions. Color to be selected by owner. Quoted price shall include all the labor, materials, truck charges, shop time, equipment and all the required inspection fees needed for this work. All scheduling of this work must be approved by Dustin Halbert prior to any work being started. The contractor is responsible for ensuring the jobsite is cleaned, orderly and safe during the project. Please note: All labor related services performed on County property require a Certificate of Insurance, evidencing Commercial, General, and Business Automobile Liability in amounts no less than $1,500,000 per Occurrence and Statutory limits of Workers' Compensation. Certificates are to be provided to the County PRIOR to beginning work under this release. Note: Contractors must be registered with the Minnesota Secretary of State and authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota The submission of a quote shall be conclusive evidence that the contractor has examined and is familiar with the conditions to be encountered including the character, quality and amount of work to be performed, materials to be furnished, and the requirements of the specifications.
