Ord - Gold Creek Tank Route No. Sr 87 Milepost 226 to 231 District Northcentral Item No.103997 The amount programmed for this contract is $6,000,000. The location and description of the proposed work are as follows: The proposed project is located in Gila County on SR 87, between mileposts 226 and 231, approximately 5 miles south of the junction with SR 188. The work consists of milling and replacing the existing asphaltic concrete surface and pavement markings. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 65 working days. To submit a valid bid, the bidder must (1) have prequalification from the Department as necessary for the project, and (2) be included on the project Plansholder List as a Prime. A proposal guaranty in the form of either a certified or a cashier's check made payable to the State Treasurer of Arizona for not less than 10 percent of the amount of the bid or in the form of a surety (bid) bond for 10 percent of the amount of the bid shall accompany the proposal. Surety (bid) bonds will be accepted only on the form provided by the Department and only from corporate sureties authorized to do business in Arizona. Bids will be received until the hour indicated and then publicly opened and read. No bids will be received after the time specified. Documents will be available within one week following the advertisement for bids.
