Est. Completion Date: Oct. 1, 2023 The Project consists of constructing a park and public education center at the City's newly constructed Well #13 site. This site will provide a combination of recreational amenities (including pickleball court, garden space, and educational displays), drought tolerant landscaping and irrigation, and educational materials to educate the public on water use. The project also includes construction of a concrete sidewalk on the south and west sides of the property, and an ADA compliant pedestrian ramp at the corner of Highland Springs Drive and Dry Creek Way. All communications related to this work shall be directed to the Engineer (Jake Poulsen, Keller Associates, 208-238-2146, jpoulsen@kellerassociates.com) prior to the opening of the Bids. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder is not required to meet Davis-Bacon wage or American Iron and Steel requirements for this project. Each Bidder must have a Public Works Contractors license in the State of Idaho prior to bid opening in accordance with Idaho law. The City of Ammon reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the Bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Ammon. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
