If Bid is less than $100,000 no Bid Bond or Payment and Performance Bond required. If the Base Bid or the Base Bid plus the sum of any alternates fall into the criteria above requiring a Bid Bond, the bidder shall enclose a Certified Check or Bid Bond with each bid. A Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid price and shall be made payable to the CITY OF FERNANDINA BEACH as a guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw its bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after Bid closing time The cost submittal shall be inclusive of any freight, transportation, handling, delivery, surcharges, or any other incidental charges. The unit price for the services contained within this bid shall remain the same through the term of the agreement beginning October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024. Two, one-year extensions may be available based upon mutual agreement and same terms and conditions The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission or to re-advertise for the services. The City shall be the sole judge of the submittals. The City's decision shall be final.
