The Onslow Water & Sewer Authority (the Authority) invites professional consulting services firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for consideration to provide engineering and other technical services necessary to update and calibrate the Authority's existing Water System Hydraulic Model, then utilize it (and information gathered from other efforts now underway) to assess system performance and make both short and long-term recommendations for operational changes and/or capital improvement projects that will support existing and anticipated future potable water demands. Interested firms qualified to perform work under this RFQ, are invited to submit their qualifications for consideration to provide such services. The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority (the Authority) is seeking qualified consulting firms licensed in the State of North Carolina to provide professional engineering and other technical services necessary to update and calibrate the Authority's existing Water System Hydraulic Model, then utilize it (and information gathered from other efforts now underway) to assess system performance and make both short and long-term recommendations for operational changes and/or capital improvement projects that will support existing and anticipated future potable water demands. Work will be performed under a standard Agreement Between Owner and Engineer (the Contract). The RFQ for this Contract, which further discusses the expected scope of work, contract format, and requirements for the submittal of a Statement of Qualifications package, is available by contacting Operations Coordinator Sherry Jones at (910) 937-7550 or sjones@onwasa.com Firms responding shall be licensed and responsible for complying with North Carolina laws, regulations, and local ordinances. The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any and all responses to the Request for Qualifications, and to accept any responses which, in its opinion, may be in its best interest The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
