The Town of Argyle, Texas (the "Town"), is seeking professional project/construction management services (the "Project Manager") for its renovation of Town Hall (the "Project"). Proposals will be accepted from qualified individuals and firms providing project management services. The individual or firm will have a minimum of 10 years of responsible, professional- level public or private sector experience with project management. The Project includes the following: Renovations of Town Hall, Parking Lot and Secondary Structure (Parsonage) The Town will be an active participant in the process. The Town will be providing inspection services during the entirety of the Project. The Town will be highly dependent upon the Project Manager to ensure the Project is completed on time and on budget. The Project Manager for this project will be selected on the basis of professional qualifications, experience and demonstrated competence. The ideal Project Manager will have a minimum of 10 years of responsible, professional-level public or private sector experience in project management with emphasis on more than one of the following disciplines: architecture, civil engineering, and structural engineering. In addition, it is preferable for the proposed Project Manager to have one of the following qualifications: Licensed Professional Architect; Certified Project Manager; or Certified Construction Manager. Previous primary project management experience by staff designated for this Project will be considered as key criteria for the selection. Consideration will be given only to those applicants who can clearly demonstrate successful past experience on publicly funded projects. Ability to communicate effectively, meet schedules, coordinate activities with multiple parties, and work within budget limitations.
