Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Borough of Little Ferry in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 of the amount bid. Any such bid bond shall be without endorsement or conditions. Bids shall also be accompanied by a certificate letter from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder with the completion bond. The Borough of Little Ferry reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids The bidder whose bid is accepted shall furnish to the Owner, a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, or a combination performance and labor and material payment bond, and upon final completion of the work, a two (2) year maintenance bond, each in the amount of 100% of the final contract price, with such sureties as shall be approved by the Owner and as detailed and described below. SBE Goals for this Contract. This Contract includes a goal of awarding 0% percentage of the Total Contract Price to subcontractors qualifying as SBEs. TIME LIMITS : 120 Calendar Days
