The City of Dallas through the Office of Homeless Solutions (OHS) has enhanced its efforts to assist and serve persons experiencing homelessness, as well as reduce the impacts of homelessness on the communities and business in Dallas. Despite these efforts, the City is experiencing many homeless encampments, in an effort to reduce the encampments, the City cleans, and, in many cases, builds security fencing to maintain the cleanliness of the property. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a one (1) year service price agreement for the rapid installation and repair of fencing. Questions Due Date: Aug 1st 2023, 9:30 AM CDT This solicitation is to provide rapid installation and repair of fencing including gates, post and hardware that meet industry standard. The vendor will provide emergency rates and response times. The successful proposer(s) will perform the following services: 1.) Rapid fencing installation 2.) Rapid repair of fencing 3.) The vendor must be able to respond within 24 hours after initial call for service. The vendor must be able to prepare/clean area prior to fencing installation and properly dispose of any trash and unused items. The Proposer, if selected, would be required to execute a contract for up to twelve (12) months or until funding is utilized at the sole discretion of the City of Dallas; subject to appropriation(s), availability of funds, and performance under the contract. No work shall commence until the contract documents are executed. No contract shall be binding on the City until it has been approved as to form by the City Attorney and executed by the City Manager. Further, no contract for the project may be signed by the City of Dallas without the authorization of the City Manager or the City Council. The City may terminate this agreement in whole or in part by giving thirty (30) days written notice thereof to Contractor. The City will compensate Contractor in accordance with the terms of the agreement for all goods and services delivered and accepted prior to the effective date of such termination notice
