The purpose of this Request for Quote (RFQ) is for The Corporation of the City of London (the City) to obtain bid submissions (Bids) from interested, qualified, firms (Bidders) who are capable of undertaking the project for the removal of the existing GBT, curbing, elevated platform, and return air ducting. Install City purchased RDT and polymer system, and reconnect sludge supply line. Fit loose supplied instrumentation (LIT) to polymer tank, re-route thickened sludge line to existing floor penetration with adequate slope, run new RDT drain line through wall, and connect to below grade existing pipes. Supply an engineered support structure for the RDT to allow drain connection clearance. Re-install and modify existing platform to fit around new RDT. Re-fit E-Stop safety wire to RDT re-using existing brackets as much as possible with some field fit required. Some field adjustment of the proposed layout may be required. The term of the contract period will commence upon the approval of the award which is approximately the week of August 21, 2023 with an expected completion date of Sept 30, 2023.
