Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder s bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid The work includes upgrading electrical infrastructure at 33 existing pumping plants and well sites throughout Solano County including installing new service poles, electrical panels, conduits and conductors, fencing, grounding systems, connecting new electrical feeders to existing pumps and wells, performing electrical system studies and coordination with PG&E. Contractor Licensing: The Contractor shall possess a Classification A, General Engineering, or C-10, Electrical, contractor license as required under the laws of the State of California, at the time the contract is awarded Solano Irrigation District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bid, and to postpone the date of the bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Refer to Section 9A of the Instructions to Bidders for further instructions. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
