Reference Number AB-2023-04850 a. Weekly curbside automated collection of waste in 250 litre carts and is taken to the West Dried Meat Lake Landfill. Carts are to be provided by the Proponent. b. Blue bag recycling every other week with no limit to the number of bags. c. Organic Collection every two weeks except for May thru October which are weekly. Carts are to be provided by the Proponent. Provisional item included in this tender is: b. Annual Big Bin Event where large items are picked up from properties where solid waste is being collected the day after the annual Kick it to the Curb event which is typically the last Sunday of August. Recycling 1. Blue bag recycling is collected every other week with no limit on the number of bags. Organics Collection 1.Organics are collected from residents every two weeks except for May thru October which are collected weekly. 2.Bins are provided by the current contractor. Residential Waste Collection 1.Residential soldi waste is collected every Friday. 2.Bins are provided by the current contractor. 3.Waste is then transported to West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill (WDMLRL). The Town is billed directly by WDMLRL for the Town's residents solid waste to be processed at their site.
