The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is requesting bid for the installation of two (2) Government provided Charge Point Dual Port Vehicle Charging Stations. DMVA anticipates installation of two directionally bored electrical runs of 208 3-Phase power from the transformer and or panel that feeds the existing building. Each station requires 2 40-amp circuits. The unit shall be mounted on a concrete pad approximately 36 X 48 X 8 thick. A shop drawing is required to be provided by the contractor for approval. The DMVA provided interior steel bollard kit CT4001 shall be secured to the concrete base with J bolts. In addition, 4 bolt down bollards are required to be provided for protection. One signpost and two (2) signs are required to be provided by the contractor. A Network Survey for the proposed location of the charging station has been completed by DMVA. Installation shall complywith DMVA installation details and exact location, and orientation of the Charging Station shall be approved by DMVA prior to construction. Contractor will provide staking/marking for approval by DMVA PM. Contractor is responsible for providing all utility locates and obtaining State DORA Electrical permits and provision of any required metering of the electrical systems as required for this work. Charge Point site validation; is used to validate that a customer installation has been performed per Charge Point published requirements. The on-site validation of electrical capacity, transformers, panels, breakers, wiring, cellular coverage and that the station installation meets all Charge Point published requirements and codes currently adopted by the State of Colorado, Office of the State Architect. A successful Site Validation is required to be accomplished by contractor being or becoming a certified installer for the equipment and providing to DMVA and Charge Point the site validation form and gaining validation from Charge Point. The cost of the site validation is paid by DMVA through the Assured Plan . Question due by 2:00PM 8/15/23 Addendum Issued by 4:00PM 8/18/23 The above schedule is tentative. Responding firms shall be notified of revisions in a timely manner by email or posted on Colorado VSS website. Respondents may elect to verify times and dates by email, but no earlier than 36 hours before the scheduled date and time.
