University is seeking a company to provide and install replacement shades for the University of Tennessee Central Greenhouse in Knoxville, TN. The awarded vendor will provide all material, labor and expenses to complete 6 zones of the greenhouse, which will consist of removal of old shades, removal of all side and end panels that seal perimeter of system, including: Replace all new shade panels and skirting. Remove and replace all LS Transparent monofilament shade support and cover wires that support the lay flat system. This includes servicing the shade drive system during shade replacement. The 18 Panels of Harmony 5747 FR shade will replace the discontinued XLS15 Revolux for the 10' wide x 30' bays. Old materials will be disposed of by the University of Tennessee or arrangements made for disposal on site. Deadline for Questions 8/1/2023 The University will not hold a pre-bid conference/site visit for this solicitation Contractor's License: (if applicable) A copy of the valid Tennessee Contractor's License must be submitted with the bid as a separate document. Bond: n/a If a respondent fails to state a time within which a bid must be accepted, respondent acknowledges that its proposal shall remain valid for 120 calendar-days beyond the bid opening date, or until 30 days after the date that any protest is resolved, whichever is longer, and the University may accept the proposal at any time within that time period.
