The objective of this project is for the Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment and manpower necessary to perform a Site Survey and Report, a detailed Design/Work Plan and complete repalcement of the Waste Anesthesia Gas Disposal (WAGD) plant and as an option replace the medical vacuum (MV) system for Bldg. 09040, Jointe Base Lewis-McChord. Project Description: The objective ofthis project is for the Contractor to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform a Site Survey and Report, a detailed Design/Work Plan and complete replacement ofthe Waste Anesthesia Gas Disposed (WAGD) plant and as an option replace the medical vacuum (MV) system for Bldg. 09040, Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA, in accordance with all Federal, State, and Installation codes and laws, to include preparation of a design as discussed below, Safety Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and Manufacturer Requirements. The systems are used 24 hours a day and there shall be no or little down time during operational hours. Changeovers must be fully coordinated with Facilities Management Division (FMD) office, see paragraph 02.5. Site Survey and Report: The site survey and report shall comply with the requirements of the basic contract. Prior to the site survey, the contractor shall complete the Pre-site Survey Checklist (provided in your base contract) to document that all required preparations for the site survey have been completed, to include developing a detailed schedule and coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Representative to identify required documents/information. The contractor shall schedule a pre-site survey teleconference prior to the site visit to discuss the information required by the checklist. Survey shall include interviews with Department and FMD staff as to design preferences and verification of equipment necessary to meet the standards to perform patient care at the current level. ANY QUESTIONS, ASSUMPTIONS, OR UNCERTAINTIES CONCERNING THIS REP SHALL BE SUBMITTED VIA THE PROJNET INQUIRY PORTAL Questions shall be submitted no later than 4 business days after the site visit date to allow time for a response, and amendment to the RFP if necessary. All RFIs will be answered no later than 5 days before proposal due date. For questions, no other means of communication, e-mail, fax, or telephone will be accepted. Oral exchanges between contractors and the government prior to award ofthe contract will not be binding Question Deadline 08/14/2023
